What Our Client are Saying
About Aqua-Smart
One of AquaSmart installations is in a one floor office building belonging to a government ministry. At the beginning of April 2021, the AquaSmart System reported a small leakage of 8 liters per hour. The municipality didn’t see any dampness and took a decision not to investigate the source of the leak. The leakage grew every day; in the middle of April it had reached 25 liters per hour and by the end of the week, it had increased to 100 liters per hour. The municipality still didn’t think it was necessary to identify and fix the source of the problem. At the beginning of May, on the weekend, the water leakage reached 800 liters per hour, the calibrated maximum limit causing the system to disconnect the water. Only then, did the municipality understand that it needed to investigate the problem, and it was discovered that the main underground pipe was leaking. A system of the local water supplier that remotely reads the water meter and is supposed to identify leakages, is also installed at the municipality. However, this system did not identify the problem and therefore did not even send a warning alert. BD-AlertThis proves once again that a small leakage that is not discovered and investigated in time will lead to a serious problem. If this had occurred in a building of a few floors, it would have created tremendous damage. Aqua-Smart identifies the problem at the very early stage

AquaSmart installed a unit in a shop owned by the Binyamin municipality. This unit identified a rusty pipe just before it was about to burst and cause enormous damage to the property. There was no actual water leaking from it but it was very stained and wet. As soon as it was touched, it disintegrated. The store owner was delighted with the efficiency of the system and the costs that it saved.

In a branch of a hostel for women with intellectual disabilities, during the end of the year, the hot water heater exploded, what to do happens every few years in every home, dozens of cubes of water flooded the building, the entire top floor needed a thorough renovation

Owner of a 100 acres vineyard is using 600 cubes of water. Eech year he loses only 10% of that amount, he pay more than 40,000 shekels >10K$ each year. The water lost in an agricultural field is detectable in the existing system because there are irrigation control systems that measure the amount of water, and if there is a problem, the farmer can see it. There is a measurement and disconnecting device, so there is a reasonable chance that the fault will be discovered and dealt with. However, the pipe between the supply of Mekorot and the irrigation control system (yellow in the diagram), cannot be seen. It is long and can reach up to tens of kilometers and part of it goes underground. When the pipe is damaged due to water theft, animals or army training, the fault is discovered only after some days and meanwhile thousands of cubic meters of water are lost.

Bank teller had water dripping on his head, on and off, for a long time. The bank is located in a commercial building of 8 floors and we could not find the source of the problem. The teller workstation couldn't be used, and sometimes the water even reached the bank server causing the branch to stop working. The happy ending of the story is that we discovered a small hole in a pipe created by someone who had installed a drywall

Early in the morning on Feb,2023, we woke up without electricity, an elevator not working, a flooded stairwell and water flowing between the floors. The elderly high-rise residents could not leave their apartments. https://youtube.com/shorts/7uFVZpn8LMY We live in a building of five floors. Solar panels (a water circulation system) are installed on the roof of the shared building. The flooding arose from a water pipe that rusted and began to drip. During several weeks, the rust spread until there was a large hole in the pipe, and high-pressure water flowed on to the roof. The water penetrated the building’s electrical system and caused all the electricity to be cut off. https://youtube.com/shorts/_tPH-99XL_k?feature=share The neighbors realized the source of the problem only when they saw the water flowing into the elevator shaft and the stairwell. AquaSmart Intelligent Water Solutions https://aquasmart.ai/ is the only company which could have prevented the heartache and huge financial damage. Aquasmart’s system would have detected the leak after the first few drops and sent a warning to the maintenance personnel of the property. If the fault had not been repaired quickly, Aqua Smart would have shut off the water supply to the circulation system and no damage would have occurred.
